Igbo and Yoruba Heritage
The Forum is proudly multi-ethnic, with Igbo and Yoruba communities as anchor groups within our membership. This page honours both traditions and provides a gateway to their rich heritage.
Igbo Heritage
From the New Yam Festival to the values of communal life and enterprise, Igbo heritage is a living tradition of resilience, celebration and deep respect for ancestry.
Yoruba Heritage
The Yoruba tradition is renowned for its festivals, artistry, proverbs and philosophy — a heritage expressed in music, masquerade and a profound sense of community.
As our membership grows, we look forward to honouring and sharing the traditions of other indigenous groups within our community as well.
